Eurovision Grand Final Welcomes Diverse Acts for 2023

The European Broadcasting Union has announced the ten acts that have qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Whatever your interest, fans can’t help but be excited about this incredibly popular event. That’s right, it’s returning this year! This iconic annual event held in Slovenia features a rich variety of musical talent from across Europe and the world. Look out for compelling acts from over 30 participating countries, including crowd-pleasing entries from the legendary “big five” nations.

The heavy hitters—the big five—France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom—are major funders of the contest’s production expenditures. Their upfront and ongoing investment allows them to secure a direct path into the grand final each year. This privilege is granted to these countries so that they can promote their entries without the need to compete in the fearsome semi-finals.

This year’s final will feature a thrilling combination of exciting, powerful performances. Australia will be the first to perform, with “Milkshake Man” by Go-Jo. At the same time, Ireland will be represented by “Laika Party” by EMMY, which was previously featured here. The Latvian entry, Bur Man Laimi, performed by Tautumeitas is sure to be a crowd-pleaser as it competes against Armenia’s SURVIVOR by PARG.

Austria’s entry, Wasted Love by JJ, is set to bring an emotional punch to the proceedings. Greece will inject a different flavor with “Asteromáta” sung by Klavdia, and while Lithuania’s entry, Tavo Akys, by Katarsis, is going to be the one to do the best with the public. Finally, Malta makes its debut with SERVING by Miriana Conte, adding more diversity of styles to the mix in this year’s competition.

Performing will be last year’s winner from Switzerland, Zoë Më, who will sing her winning song “Voyage” during the grand final. Serbia’s inclusion is obvious for the fact that Eurovision has a longstanding tradition of honoring its past winners at future contests. France, on the other hand, will look to dazzle with Louane and “Maman” while Germany will present “Baller” by Abor & Tynna. Italy closes out the big five with “Volevo Essere Un Duro” by Lucio Corsi.

The Eurovision Song Contest continues to be a platform for cultural exchange and musical exploration, drawing millions of viewers worldwide. Our grand final is going to be equally exciting with both rising and veteran talent. Whether you’re a fan or a participant, this is going to be an amazing experience!
