Jimmy Kimmel flashes his new grandparent card on the May 20 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He was seen arriving at The Alliance For Women In Media Foundation’s 50th Annual Gracie Awards Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Just a few short weeks after that, the news broke. P.S. Kimmel’s daughter, Katie Kimmel, recently had a baby of her own! To honor her family legacy and meld her background with the American musical worldview, she named her daughter Patti Joan.
Katie Kimmel, 33, is the daughter of Kimmel and his first wife, Gina Maddy. She was surrounded by an “army of family” at the hospital during the birth, which prompted Kimmel to miss the previous night’s show to support her. He made the announcement about becoming a grandfather, and he was positively jubilant. He called this milestone a “daunting task.”
Kimmel has an adult son, Kevin Kimmel, 31, from his first marriage. He is the father of two younger children, Billy and Jane, with his current wife, Molly McNearney. After taking on this new role, he made some self-deprecating jokes based on the previous mischief seen from his own grandfathers.
