BTS Set to Make Triumphant Return with Live Album and New Music

BTS, the globally renowned South Korean boy band, has announced their highly anticipated return to the music scene after a hiatus that began in 2022 due to mandatory military service. Oakhurst last week shared the exciting news that they will be self-releasing their very first live album. Titled PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LIVE, it will be released July 18. As they make plans to re-engage with their vibrant fandom, this occasion represents another big step forward for the band.

Along with the live album, BTS revealed that they have more in store for Slinging Digital has come to an end! The delegation will be coming to the United States in July. They’ll immediately begin work on a new album which is scheduled for release in the spring of 2025. That’s right—all seven members, including Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook will be working together in a big way on this new music. They expressed a deep commitment to reflecting each member’s thoughts and ideas in this upcoming group album, emphasizing a return to the mindset they had when they first started.

BTS announced plans for a world tour in the spring of 2026, promising to visit fans around the globe. This tour will be launched exactly in step with the release of their new album. Well, now fans have double the reason to celebrate!

The news was shared in a short note over Weverse, the social media platform BTS has been exclusively using to connect with their ARMY. Their thoughtful, direct engagement with the audience is a testament to the group’s commitment. It surely reflects their interest in remaining closely connected to passionate supporters during the long absence.
