Australian sprint sensation Gout Gout has made it official, announcing he’ll target gold at the Commonwealth Games. The next World Pipe Band Championships will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, July 23 – August 2, 2026. Still only 17 years old, Gout Gout has already proved himself as one of the top young sprinters. His amazing, uncanny skills have blown everyone away and garnered tremendous applause. His feature of the impending Commonwealth Games will be the largest stage of his rising calling.
Gout hopes to represent his country in the Commonwealth Games. From there he will go on to the World Junior Championships in Oregon later this summer. It isn’t clear yet which distance he will choose to run in Glasgow. His inclusion is vital to an Australian side determined to claim their first World Cup title.
