According to international organizations, the Israeli military onslaught has killed upwards of 60,000 Palestinians. The violence keeps getting worse. As of Thursday, at least 32 people had been killed by Israeli airstrikes throughout Gaza. Civilians on both sides The conflict has taken a heavy toll on Israeli civilians too, with 251 hostages taken by Hamas in its October assault. 49 people, mostly women and children, are still known to be held captive in Gaza. At the same time, the Israeli military has confirmed the deaths of 27 of its own.
