Dancing with the Stars Season 34 Set to Shine This Fall

Edging ever closer to its glorious return this fall, Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars” has descended on Los Angeles. This season is more thrilling than ever because it’s the show’s 20th anniversary! America’s favorite dance show will then move to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and PT on ABC and Disney+. Catch it streaming the next day on Hulu as well! This season promises an exciting lineup of celebrity competitors and talented professional dancers.

In April, the star of the hit wildlife conservation reality show Robert Irwin was revealed as one of the new season’s celebrity competitors. In a statement, Irwin shared his excitement at the opportunity to join the returning cast. He referred to the season as an “honor” and a “privilege” to be a part of. His participation brings an exciting element to the competition even beyond his incredible storied career, as he is a wildlife photographer and conservationist.

Cast Announcements and Appearances

In addition to Irwin, social media influencer Alix Earle was officially announced previously as joining the cast. Earle recently debuted her new role on “Good Morning America” on May 22, expressing her enthusiasm for the new season. That celebrity list of opponents now includes her in a colorful and varied group. Joining them are Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, as well as the groundbreaking athlete Ilona Maher.

Watch their debut performance on “Good Morning America” Wednesday, September 3, at 7 a.m. ET. August 2024, when they’ll announce the full cast for season 34! Fans eagerly await the announcement, which is expected to feature even more captivating personalities ready to hit the dance floor.

Judges and New Professional Dancer

Familiar faces are back with seasoned judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough! Twice as experienced and charismatic, they return to the judging panel for a third time. Jan Ravnik, another new pro dancer, was announced August 28 on the “GMA,” live show. Ravnik said he was thrilled to be a part of the show. He continued, “I’ve been around the world on the Eras Tour and now I’m about to hit the ballroom stage for ‘Dancing With The Stars.’ The Mirrorball is a love story that never goes out of style and we’re about to take it home!”

Ravnik’s addition joins what is already a very deep field of young talent into the competition. This will help bring to life the vibrant atmosphere that “Dancing with the Stars” is known for.

Sneak Peeks and Excitement

We’re more excited than ever for this upcoming season! Fans can’t get enough of the short clip that features co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro getting their groove on to “Pump Up the Jam” by Technotronic and Felly, released August 18. This fun clip showcases the show’s lively atmosphere and sets an upbeat tone for what viewers can expect.

Last season ended with Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson winning the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. With season 34 right around the corner, excitement is at an all-time high among fans clamoring to discover who will join their ranks.
