The 2025 Emmy Awards celebrated the brightest stars on the small-screen, honoring outstanding actors, directors, and talents from drama, comedy, sports, documentary and more. Held on a star-studded night, the event awarded outstanding productions and performances that captured audiences throughout the year. Dramatic historical epic “Shōgun” quickly claimed the title of the largest winner, while the wildly popular creator-centric series “The Studio,” starring Seth Rogen, headed the overall nominations with a whopping 23 nods.

Shōgun also achieved historic milestones by winning the most Emmys of any program this year, including the coveted Outstanding Drama Series. The Sunday night series took home a staggering 18 awards. Major Wins and Nominations

Aside from “Shōgun” there were plenty of accolades to spread around during the twinkling ceremony. Our favorite comedies “Hacks,” the breakout comedy-drama series, took home Outstanding Comedy Series. That’s the case with Baby Reindeer, which won the award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. This acknowledgement highlights the amazing breadth of talent among this year’s nominees.

Seth Rogen’s “The Studio” not only garnered the highest number of nominations but contributed significantly to the evening’s entertainment. The show continues to defy expectations and blow our minds with its new, imaginative ways of storytelling. It’s hardly a surprise that Rogen’s performance has got critics and audiences raving.
