The Savannah Bananas, a unique baseball team known for their entertaining approach to the sport, announced their plans for the 2026 season. Ever since their beginning in 2016, the Bananas have enraptured baseball audiences. They developed their own brand of rules that make for a more enjoyable game. Founded by Jesse Cole, who expressed his frustration with the slower moments in traditional baseball, the Bananas aim to create a spectacle that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish.
In 2025, the Bananas will take to the road! They’ll play in some of the most legendary stadiums in the country and take on thrilling partner touring teams such as Party Animals, Firefighters, and Texas Tailgaters. The momentum of a terrific 2025 season has paved the way for an even more daring 2026 effort.
The new season includes games at historic sites such as Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium. Fans can expect an exciting lineup as six Banana Ball teams take the field, including two new additions: the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns. The season will again begin at Florida State University. Teams will face off in either Dick Howser or Doak Campbell stadiums, spanning three action-packed days in February.
The anticipation for the 2026 season heightened after the “2026 Banana Ball City Selection Show,” which aired on ESPN2, Disney+, ESPN+, and the Banana Ball YouTube channel. The show provided fans with a glimpse of the exciting developments ahead and opened the ticket lottery for eager supporters.

The lottery for order of ticket sales opened immediately after the Selection Show ended. It’s the only way to get tickets to Savannah Bananas games! The lottery will remain open through October 31. Joining the lottery list is the only way for fans to guarantee themselves a seat in what promises to be an electric 2023 season!
