Royal Couple Advocates for Mental Health at NYC Gala

On Thursday, October 9, Meghan Markle—and Prince Harry, her husband and full-time fellow royal—stole the show in NYC. Together, they made a powerful team in raising awareness about mental health. The newlyweds were spotted at the annual Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala. This momentous gala of the minds, held at Spring Studios in Manhattan, centered on bringing awareness to the global mental health crisis.

The gala was held just ahead of the Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival on October 10, 2025. Meghan and Harry made their entrance in dapper threads. Meghan surprised everyone in an ivory-toned tailored Armani suit, embellished with a statement gold chunky chain necklace. He kept it classic in a black suit, but it was just enough to complement her elegance without overshadowing it. Combined, they set a powerful example in line with the evening’s theme.

Meghan’s ensemble was completed with minimalist makeup and a chic ponytail, reflecting her sophisticated style while emphasizing the importance of mental health advocacy.

Meghan was able to catch this tender moment backstage during the event. She surprised her fans with a blur-black video where she spends a crazy time with Harry and fooling totally around together on her Instagram account. Told with music from Sylvie Vartan’s “Baby, c’est vous,” the video shows the couple deep in each other’s eyes, genuine laughter spilling out, their appreciation unshakable.

“Happy World Mental Health Day.” – Meghan, Duchess of Sussex

In her post, Meghan expressed her sentiments about the importance of mental health, tagging her husband with the sweet caption, “…to the man who always keeps me laughing.” She posted a tender photo of their daughter Lilibet with the video. That picture of them holding hands and her sweet message made the tenderhearted among us swoon.

Furthermore, Meghan concluded another post with an empowering message for young girls: “To all the girls — this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you.”

The couple’s participation in the gala serves as an example of their ongoing commitment to mental health advocacy. They passionately advocate to help raise awareness for others who are struggling with mental illness.
