These new emails from Jeffrey Epstein, who has long denied Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s allegations against him, directly contradict his previous denials. Giuffre has accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her as a minor. Andrew has repeatedly – and adamantly – denied these charges. The new revelations help explain the tumultuous dynamic between the prince and Epstein. They do expose that Andrew maintained contacts with Epstein long after claiming to have severed all ties to the convicted sex offender.
Virginia Giuffre alleges that Prince Andrew had sexual relations with her on three separate occasions throughout her adolescence. She’s brought these allegations to light publicly. In defense against these charges, he has continued, in public and on the record, to deny any wrongdoing. Notwithstanding these denials, Prince Andrew continued to communicate with Epstein for months after their alleged split. This close relationship—as well as his failure to disclose the extent of his involvement—calls into question the Prince’s judgment and the character of his relationships.
Allegations and Denials
Virginia Giuffre’s allegations against Prince Andrew have been a focal point in the public discourse surrounding Epstein’s network. Giuffre alleges that the Prince had sex with her when she was a minor under American law. In defense against the accusation, Andrew has repeatedly and vehemently denied this charge.

The contact between Prince Andrew and Epstein did not come to an end until 2011, despite Prince Andrew’s insistence that he had severed all ties with Epstein. Even though this year was unique, it served as a reminder that we are still operating in Epstein’s shadow. The Duke’s former spouse, Sarah Ferguson, entertained similar associations with Epstein over this same period of time.
On a personal level, Ferguson called Epstein her “steadfast, generous and supreme friend” to her and her family. These comments would further complicate the Prince Andrew denial narrative. His personal, continuing business relationships with people engaged in these very illegal acts makes it worse.
Recent emails from Epstein— now widely published —show how Epstein kept himself busy while supposedly advising Prince Andrew. In this, he advised them on how best to weather the storm from Giuffre’s accusations. Epstein cast aspersions on Giuffre’s credibility in the exchange of emails replete with misspellings, malapropisms and other howlers, which Epstein used to declare Giuffre was lying.
