Legendary Collaboration: Aerosmith, Yungblud, and Lainey Wilson Unite for Remix

Legendary rock band, Aerosmith, have joined forces with breakout stars Yungblud & Lainey Wilson. Collectively, they’ve created a new version of their beloved, anthem-y song “Wild Woman, One More Time.” Listen closely and you’ll hear the vocal idiosyncrasies of all four artists, and that’s what makes Kevin Garrett’s new rendition work so well. It’s a testament to an incredible creative partnership that marries rock and country vibes.

The new partnership follows the pair’s widely praised show-stopping collaboration during the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The in-person event was held on September 7, 2025, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. It was a thrilling performance with Steven Tyler, Yungblud, and Joe Perry mesmerizing the audience with their emotional performance of the hit song. A great shot of the trio performing is available, which shows just how energetic and exciting this momentous occasion was.

Lainey Wilson, known for her recent country chart-topper, “Somewhere Over Laredo,” came on board after her cosmic onstage duet with Steven Tyler. They played side by side at the “Jam for Janie” benefit shown above, earlier this year. This project is an important step for Wilson’s ever-expanding career as she takes on the rock genre with iconic names like never before.

In addition to Wilson’s powerful vocals, legendary guitarist Joe Perry returned to the studio to craft new guitar work specifically for this reimagined version of “Wild Woman, One More Time.” This contribution dovetails perfectly with Aerosmith’s long-established willingness to stretch into new territory while still staying true to their rock heritage.

“I’m really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us… We needed a wild woman and we for sure got one!” – Yungblud

The collaborative effort between Aerosmith, Yungblud, and Lainey Wilson exemplifies a blending of genres that resonates with fans across demographics. They mix traditional country instrumentation and melodies into rock music to get white audiences to listen. This practice embraces the cultural traditions of every artist that participates.

Wild Woman, One More Time takes Aerosmith down some thrilling new paths on this exhilarating record. It shines a light on the rising stature of Yungblud and Lainey Wilson within popular culture. With both artists pushing the envelope and stretching the limits of genres, this collaboration is sure to become something that listeners will talk about for years to come.

The release of “Wild Woman, One More Time” not only signifies a new chapter for Aerosmith but also showcases Yungblud and Lainey Wilson’s rising prominence in the music industry. As they continue to break boundaries and redefine genres, this collaboration promises to leave a lasting impact on listeners.
