Particularly special this year was that Dannielynn and her father, Larry Birkhead, got to celebrate this year’s milestone. Together, they happily marked their 15th consecutive gala appearance.
With an elegant yet messy updo, Dannielynn paid homage to the glitz and glam of her mom’s signature style serving up very real Barb doll vibes. Her gown was more than a fabulous fashion flex, it was a deeply sentimental tribute. “She’s wearing Anna Nicole’s dress from this very same event, 21 years ago. Life full circle,” Larry Birkhead shared on Instagram, along with photos capturing the poignant moment.
Last year’s event, pictured above, featured Dannielynn making a statement in a custom black outfit. She won this incredible costume, formerly belonging to Janet Jackson, off the rack from a charity auction. This year, she chose her mom’s gown because of its deep significance. For a 19th century dress, it’s super hip,” she added.
