Dolly Parton announces Dollyverse Las Vegas Residency postponed to December 4-13, 2025. Health-related issues prompted the move. It appears her first full Las Vegas engagement in more than 30 years will be affected as well.
The residency had been planned to coincide with the National Finals Rodeo. Boasting to be the most exciting and innovative “hit-driven concert experience” that would take the audience through seven decades of unforgettable songs. Ideally, fans would have been excited about hearing the classics. They imagined iconic songs hits such as “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “Coat of Many Colors.”
Parton shared the news of the postponement through her Instagram account on September 28, 2025, at 7:49 PM. In her resignation statement, she promised to make it up to all her fans with the strongest artistic return she could muster.
“You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you,” – Dolly Parton.
To quell worries from fans, Parton said she’ll be able to continue producing films and other creative work from home in Nashville. She added she needs “a bit of lead time to get show ready, as they say.”
The singer reassured fans about her future in the entertainment industry, stating, “And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.” She laughed and said it was due for its “100,000-mile check-up.” She explained, this is not your average trip to the plastic surgeon.
In her message full of love, Parton understood the necessity for a pause. She continued, “I think He’s calling me to slow down in this season so I can be prepared for even bigger adventures with all of you.”
