Eric Dane is known for his work on hit primetime dramas. Recently, he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurological disorder affecting the motor neurons. In April, the 50-year-old actor publicly announced that he has been diagnosed with cancer. This ignited an avalanche of support and brought much-needed attention to the crippling ailment. His wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, and their two daughters, Billie and Georgia have been on this rocky adventure with him as well.

Gayheart expressed their approach to this situation, saying, “We’re just trying to have some hope and do it with dignity, grace and love.”
