Foo Fighters Announce 2026 Tour and Release New Single

YAAS—Foo Fighters just announced their super exciting 2026 North American stadium tour! They’ll be accompanied by the country’s biggest rock band, Queens of the Stone Age. This will be the band’s first proper, full-length live tour across the U.S. since popping up for a handful of dates in 2024.

The partnership news comes along with the drop of their new single, “Asking for a Friend.” It’s the second single from the Foo Fighters in 2025. Last month, the band released their inaugural single, “Today Song.” With this equally thrilling release, it gives fans a glimpse of what’s to come from them this year. Filled with hope and determination, “Asking for a Friend” strikes a chord with anyone who’s ever spent years holding out hope for better times.

“‘Asking for a Friend’ is a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear.” – Dave Grohl

>The Take Cover tour, which benefits artists and musicians through the Artists’ Health Alliance, begins August 4 in Toronto. It concludes on September 26 in Las Vegas. This tour follows Foo Fighters’ live return in September, which included a series of U.S. pop-up dates and their first performances in Asia with new drummer Ilan Rubin, formerly of Nine Inch Nails.

Fans eager to secure their spot for the tour can register for presale access until Sunday at 11:59 p.m. PT. General on-sale starts October 31 at 10am local time.

In addition to the excitement surrounding the tour, Grohl hinted at more music to come from Foo Fighters, further building anticipation among their fan base.

“Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again.” – Dave Grohl

Foo Fighters have returned with a renewed energy. As evidenced by their recent reunion announcement and new music, the quartet from New Hampshire isn’t finished breaking hearts all over again. Prepare yourselves for an incredible journey on this first-ever tour! With an electrifying legacy and all of those huge hits, new and old fans are in for some fun.
