Share ABC’s “Good Morning America” (GMA) has moved to its new, permanent waterfront home in Manhattan’s Hudson Square neighborhood, which will usher in another epoch of television’s current longest-serving morning show, now 26 years old. Indeed, June 16, 2025 saw an opening-day broadcast from Studio C located within the Robert A. Iger building, their newest headquarters. On the inaugural day in the new studio, co-anchors Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan celebrated by cementing their handprints in clay, symbolizing the GMA family’s legacy in the broadcast industry. Additional well-known faces from the show, like Sam Champion and Lara Spencer, helped usher in this beloved custom.
The new studio isn’t pretty just to be pretty. It was built to work.
