Major Ice Cream Recall Affects Over 17,800 Cartons Nationwide

A multi-state ice cream and frozen yogurt recall has started involving over 17,800 cartons of affected products. This decision follows several months of public outcry over potential plastic contamination and the discovery of Listeria. The recall includes the entire 22 flavor variety, all distributed in 3-gallon tubs. This movement affects products shipped through over 103 distribution centers located throughout the United States. Other important sites are Le Mars, Iowa, Wyoming Township, Michigan, Rosemont, Illinois, Houston, Texas, and Fort Worth, Texas.

The recall was sparked after plastic pieces were found in the product line. This is a major consumer safety issue. Furthermore, evidence of Listeria contamination has been found, which can lead to serious health complications if consumed. Health officials said Sunday that there are no known injuries. Furthermore, there have been no negative reactions associated with the contaminated products.

Consumers are encouraged to look at the “Best If Used By” dates printed on the cartons. These dates are from March 2026 to October 2026. The potential contaminated ice cream and frozen yogurt products have been sold at many of the large chain and independent retailers where consumers shop nationwide.

The corporation has very quickly pulled the affected product from store shelves. They’re working hand in hand with public health agencies to protect consumers. We forgot to use our consumer voices—every single one of us—they call on you, the public, to cease using these products. Rather, return them for a complete refund.

Consumer health advocates and experts urge quick action to fix any contamination to avoid putting consumers at risk of health dangers. Officials are still on alert and keep close tabs on the matter.
