“Bachelor in Paradise” Season 10 will be a wild ride as this year’s contestants go on the search for their second, third or even fourth chance at love. This season takes place in beautiful, remote Costa Rica. Look forward to an exciting new venue where lifelong memories will be made! That reality has not however dimmed enthusiasm for the new season, which kicks off Monday at 8 p.m. ET. Beginning the next day, fans will be able to stream episodes on Hulu!
In June, the show announced the first round of season 10 cast members. This cast is especially notable because of the heavy inclusion of familiar faces from past seasons of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” Among the contestants is Alexe-Anne “Alexe” Godin from The Bachelor Season 29. In the running are Dale Moss from ABC’s “The Bachelorette” Season 16 and Jessica “Jess” Edwards from ABC’s “The Bachelor” Season 28. Kathy Swarts, Leslie Fhima, and Natascha Hardee of “The Golden Bachelor” S1 will round out the new arrivals. They’ll be accompanied on their journey by Charles “CK” King, Keith Gordon, and Kim Buike, all from 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐺𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛 𝐵𝑎𝑐𝘩𝑒𝑙𝑜𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒 Season 1.
New Dynamics and Challenges
This year, host Jesse Palmer will be introducing compatibility tests designed to deepen the relationship-building between contestants. Palmer voiced his enthusiasm to the new dynamics these tests will make, saying,
“There’s some challenges that play throughout the season that really raises the stakes for our cast.”
These compatibility assessments and group challenges combine to create a breeding ground for deeper connections. They inject a much-needed dose of unpredictability into the production. Palmer noted that ramping up group activities for the cast has led to plenty of drama and the opportunity for some authentic bonds. This is a huge difference from previous seasons.
“It was a lot of fun for me to have our cast in more group settings more often than anything we’ve done in the past,” he said. “I thought it created some drama, but I think it also really helped them get to know each other better.”
Guidance and Support
To deepen the experience, former contestant Rachel Brown will be joining the cast to offer mentorship and resources. She hopes to be a resource for contestants by providing guidance to them as they go through the process of being on the show.
“To help give advice and just help [cast members] on their journey in any way possible,” Brown explained.
Her added expertise will provide contestants with invaluable knowledge. They’ll be armed with these insights to help them steer their relationships solidly through the challenges that the season presents.
This combination of returning contestants, fresh rivals, and sage advice from the veterans represents a clear and positive step forward for “Bachelor in Paradise.” As part of the extensive “Bachelor Nation” franchise, this season looks to captivate audiences with its unique approach to love and relationships.
