Tom Felton has made his highly anticipated return to Broadway, reprising the role of Draco Malfoy in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” For the actor and for legions of fans of the science fiction franchise, Tuesday was a special occasion. It was the day of his much buzzed about debut! Felton’s casting was officially announced way back in June, but wizarding world fans have been bubbling with excitement ever since.
Felton was originally signed on for a 19-week limited engagement, running through March 22, 2026. In response to extraordinary audience demand, he has announced that he will stay for at least seven more weeks beyond his current engagement. This gives fans the chance to see him in the legendary role of Draco Malfoy through May 10, 2026.
When Felton finally took to the stage, fans clapped and screamed with delight. They extravagantly celebrated his return to a manly that has come to be imaginable with his name. His very first word as Draco was “Potter.” At which point the crowd greeted everybody with raucous applause, and it took him almost a half minute to get back on his train of thought.

>After the initial excitement settled, Felton continued his performance by stating, “I need a favor,” a line that references one of Draco’s notable moments from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” His return to the role was caught on video and posted to the official Broadway production’s “Cursed Child” Instagram account. His fans welcomed him with a rapturous reception, and the excitement in the building is electric!
