Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have finally relocated their family. They now live in Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom house on the Windsor Estate in Windsor, England. This transition marks a new chapter for the Wales family, who have made the move with their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Prince George, now 12 and the eldest of his siblings, leads the way. Trailing closely behind him are 10-year-old Princess Charlotte and 7-year-old Prince Louis. All three kids now go to Lambrook School in nearby Berkshire. This allows them to remain engaged with their academic roles, despite the transitory nature of the rest of the family.
The Duke and Duchess formerly resided at Kensington Palace, where they maintain an official residence. Twelve months on, they’ve chosen to try something very different, living communally at Forest Lodge. Although the family intended for Adelaide Cottage to serve as a full-time home, they still continued renovations at Forest Lodge, moving in full time in 2022. Accounts suggest that they self-funded these additions in order to make the house serve and comfort their growing family.
Forest Lodge includes eight large bedrooms accommodating up to 20 people, making it an ideal retreat location. In addition, you’ll be treated to a dramatic setting in the gorgeous Windsor Estate. The home’s central location provides the perfect base for exploring both the educational and royal pursuits. All of this makes it a perfect fit for the Wales family.
