Pop Mart Unveils Mini Labubu Plush and Long-Fur Version in Exciting Launch

These will include everyone’s favorite bear Labubu, designed by the popular artist and illustrator Kasing Lung. Stay tuned as we approach the launch! To celebrate the launch, mini Labubu plush toys and a special long-fur version will be available on Pop Mart’s official website starting on August 29.

Labubu has enchanted readers – both young and old – since its first publication in 2015, starring in three picture books based on Nordic mythology. The character was originally conceived as a pointy-eared, sharp-toothed little horror show. Now fans of all ages are sure to be falling in love with him! In 2019, Pop Mart collaborated with Kasing Lung to create and sell Labubu figurines. This interaction has proved to be one of the company’s biggest financial boons.

The company recently made the splashy announcement of their new Labubu plush line! These long-fur Labubus will now be accessorized with a magical pearl & alloy heart necklace, adding a bit of elegance to its fanciful appeal! Each long-fur plush will use a custom-dyed process, meaning no two figures will be the same. This distinctive swag campaign is an example of Pop Mart’s continued focus on creativity and quality in its product offerings.

Beyond the plush toys, Pop Mart is rolling out 30 letter pendant blind boxes. Each box will include a different pattern entry with a special Monsters charm, adding to the expanding Labubu family. Their attractiveness to children is likely to increase the popularity of these products even further, bolstering Pop Mart’s already beautiful revenue stream.

We now know what the new products will cost, too. The long-fur Labubu plush will be available for an MSRP of $114.99. You can pick up the adorable labubu mini plush toys for only $22.99 each! Each letter pendant blind box retails for $18.99. This modest price point offers an affordably priced item fans can easily add to their ever-growing comic collections!

Labubu’s influence on Pop Mart’s financial success should not be underestimated. The character has been instrumental in driving the company’s top-line, or revenue, growth. In 2024, it exploded to 13.04 billion yuan (about $1.81 billion), more than doubling year-over-year. This incredible growth all but guarantees that the market is creatively starving for Pop Mart’s innovative products and characters.
