Protests Erupt in London as Trump Arrives for State Visit Amid Epstein Controversy

Donald Trump’s arrival late Tuesday local time marked the beginning of an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom. He barely gets home in time for his first meeting with new boss, King Charles. The meeting will be held at Windsor Castle, located some 25 miles west of London. The trip though is already overshadowed by protests sparked by Trump’s former friendship with late financier Jeffrey Epstein.

On Wednesday, when Trump is formally received by King Charles III, the situation will be even more controversial and incendiary. FOUR protestors arrested after pictures of TRUMP next to EPSTEIN projected onto walls of WINDSOR CASTLE! The Stop Trump Coalition, a broad leftist organization, coordinated the protest. They even pulled it off with thousands of demonstrators marching through central London on the very same day.

Some of the projections featured a hugely inflammatory birthday card that Trump supposedly sent to Epstein more than two decades ago. As is typical for this kind of detail, in this trading card, Trump allegedly calls Epstein a “pal.” While the White House has since denied that this birthday card was real.

UK police accused the projections of being a “publicity stunt.” They detained four adults on suspicion of malicious communications for asking the projection at the castle unauthorized. Protesters unfurled a massive banner displaying a photograph of Trump and Epstein near Windsor Castle, further amplifying their message.

One of the towers of Windsor Castle featured stunning images of Trump and Epstein. Completed with them, it looked to exhibit photos of Epstein’s victims, news clips about the case, and police reports that described the allegations against him.

Though advocates have protested, Trump has encouraged his supporters to drop their focus on Epstein. His previously described relationship with Epstein has received considerable praise. This tsunami of concern increased sharply due to the fact that their apocalypse occurred well before Epstein’s death in prison in 2019.

Thousands more are preparing to take to the streets of London. Signs are that Trump will not visit the British capital at all while staying here. This royal welcome paired with public dissent among the city’s leaders and residents serves to exemplify the complicated reality surrounding Trump’s presidency and his relationships.
