SBS has recently initiated various steps to improve and further diversify its news services to reach an even broader audience, including the establishment of Indigenous media. The nonprofit has debuted a new daily online series! It’s a fast-moving ten-minute business and finance news podcast featuring SBS Finance Editor Ricardo Gonçalves, produced in collaboration with the Walkley Foundation. Through this program, we’re providing her with short, specific financial news that matters. It’s the best way to keep your finger on the pulse of today’s fast-moving market.
SBS has added a new five-minute news wrap to the lineup, called “On the Money.” It’s uniquely targeted to English learners and to people with disabilities. This project is just one example of SBS’s commitment to inclusivity. With it, we’re able to make legal, government, and other public-interest news stories available to all in a way that’s engaging yet approachable.
