SBS went all in on podcasts in 2021, launching two different styles of weekly news wraps. Their daily ten-minute finance and business news wrap– “On the Money” –is delivered free by email or online. It is produced and hosted by SBS Finance Editor Ricardo Gonçalves. The other is a new, five-minute weekly podcast, “News in English”, intended specifically for English language learners and people with disabilities.
These new formats are just the latest examples of SBS’s mission to deliver effective, informative, and inclusive content specifically designed to engage varied audiences. On the Money provides the latest information on important financial and business-related issues, informing and inspiring listeners with dynamic content that contextualizes today’s rapidly shifting economic environment. News in English was a terrific English language learning tool, for beginners and experts alike. It’s a great way to stay on top of what’s happening today.
