She did not downplay the difficulty of implementing such changes but spoke highly of her staff’s adaptability and fortitude.
Garrett’s own selection was greeted with deep, personal emotion. So when the list did come out, I cried a few happy tears,” she said. I just feel so lucky to be in the position I’m in, that I want to just play and take everything—as much as I can.”
