Shark attack near the Port Noarlunga jetty in South Australia on Thursday morning. At approximately 9:45 AM, a man swimming in the area was bitten by the shark, prompting immediate concern among beachgoers and local authorities.

The shocking moment occurred while the man was swimming and then came face to face with the predatory shark. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a commotion in the water, which alerted others nearby to the unfolding situation. Fortunately, lifeguards responded to the scene almost immediately and were able to rescue the swimmer and perform CPR on his unconscious body.

Local officials have not released details of the man’s injuries. They did affirm, as he was soon transferred to a local hospital for treatment. The attack has raised alarming questions about maritime security in the area. As Port Noarlunga is a major destination for swimmers, snorkelers and divers, residents say these concerns are all the more urgent.
