Deezer Unveils My Deezer Year 2025 with Romantic Comedy Theme

In the spirit of listening reflections, Deezer has just introduced their “ My Deezer Year 2025 .” This highly-anticipated and fantastic addition provides users with an all-inclusive look at their musical past year .This new Mobile Tracker app is designed for both iOS and Android smartphones. It’s a copycat of Spotify’s widely used Wrapped feature , letting fans explore their most played songs, albums and how many hours they spent listening to their top artist.

We’ve divided the experience into three separate, but connected episodes. Our first episode, “Meet Cute,” brings to centerstage all the new artists users have been listening to in the past year. This installment invites listeners to consider how their musical preferences have changed over time. The third episode, called “Love Triangle,” explores listeners’ favorite three artists. For fans, it uncovers their deepest musical influences and offers an enlightening look into their tastes. The final episode, “Happily Ever After,” features listeners’ all-time top songs. It includes a tailored music playlist to make sure the fun listening continues!

To make the user experience more engaging, Deezer has adopted a fun and quirky “rom-com” approach to the visual look and feel of the recap. This new look and feel is designed to engage users and create a fun experience with the game. Additionally, users can create their own personalized quizzes to share and compete with friends. After that, it’s pretty straightforward—just vote on a favorite genre, three nominated songs, and one top nominated artist! This engaging feature then lets them find out which of their friends match their music taste after taking the quizzes.

Notably, this year marks the first time that non-Deezer users can create their own quizzes, broadening accessibility and potentially attracting new users to the platform. The first phase of the initiative is intentionally designed to increase sharing on social media platforms. Users hang their results on the refrigerator and get their friends in on the action!

Last year’s “My Deezer Year 2023” went for a slightly edgier route. Users were given the option to be either “roasted” or “hyped up” depending on how well they have been listening. This year, the experience is all about connection and compatibility. Deezer’s personalized musical taste quiz tracks your responses to learn more about your music preferences. The benefits include finding your musical soulmates, opening new doors to enjoying music socially!
