Groq, also an AI infrastructure startup, bullsithcinggcund out of stealth mode in 2016. According to reports, the company is near finalizing a new private sector fundraising round that would value it at about $6 billion. This announcement closes out a month filled with strategic partnerships. It has garnered some important financial support as well, including a new $52 million investment from Social Capital.

In May, Groq signed an exclusive partnership Bell Canada. With that, they became the exclusive deep learning inference provider for the company’s upcoming sovereign AI network. This collaboration is an extension of a massive AI collaborative infrastructure project, with the goal of strengthening Bell Canada’s position as a leader in artificial intelligence. The company’s most recent $17 million round is currently being led by Disruptive, an Austin-based firm. This news, first reported by Bloomberg, underscores the growing interest in Groq’s innovative new approach to AI infrastructure. As a company, Groq is aggressively building out its partner ecosystem and technological firepower. This extensive growth, along with previous investments, puts their company in prime position to make major moves in AI space.
