France’s Innovation of the Year Award has revealed its 30 finalists – 30 startups to compete for the grand award at VivaTech 2025. This award celebrates the daring and forward-thinking firms leading the way by exhibiting their cutting-edge inventions. Its purpose is to recognize those startups that are challenging the status quo and changing the way industries operate through their innovative thoughts and creations.
This year, there were hundreds of applicants vying to get their projects to the final round, but only 30 startups were selected for the short list. That hasn’t stopped each of these startups from already claiming serious bragging rights as a consequence of their selection. We know the competition will be fierce, and getting down to the top five finalists will be infinitely difficult.
On June 11, the five finalists will take the stage to pitch their ideas live at VivaTech. This event provides innovators with an excellent stage for sharing the progress they are making. It can serve as one of those watershed moments in the competition, as we close in on the naming of a winner. Further to that, we look forward to seeing this year’s winner revealed during the VivaTech Global Awards Ceremony on June 12th.
