Leverage Edu Navigates Visa Challenges to Empower Students’ International Dreams

>Leverage Edu, a high-flying education technology firm based in Noida, has operated proactively against a backdrop of new visa restrictions. Yet these changes have dashed many students’ dreams of moving studying abroad. The firm works mostly with colleges and universities, placing international students. From that rock-solid foundation, it has seen extraordinary expansion and brilliant profitability, all while doing right by its biggest market, the United Kingdom—of which over 50% of its placements are theirs.

After founding Leverage Edu, Akshay has been instrumental in helping students with their education journeys abroad. Whether you’re planning, financing, or managing the project, the platform provides comprehensive support at each stage. Providing high value additions with a headcount close to 800 employees, the company has a huge global footprint with operations across 27 countries through over 50 offices. Through this massive network, Leverage Edu assists more than 10,000 students per year. This is a dramatic increase from just approximately 1,500 students three years ago.

The United Kingdom is still Leverage Edu’s leading market, accounting for 52% of the company’s total student placements. In second place comes Germany with 22% of all placements. Since inception, these markets have experienced tremendous growth. Yet North America still represents under 5% of the company’s overall placements.

Leverage Edu has experienced very impressive financial growth. The company concluded fiscal year 2025 with stellar revenue over ₹1.8 billion, or over $20 million. This extraordinary expansion more than doubled their revenues from last year’s ₹900 million or around $10 million. This tremendous growth has resulted in Leverage Edu becoming profitable for the first time ever this year.

Chaturvedi noted the competitive landscape, stating, “Our gap has narrowed with most of our global competitors who were either large listed companies or who had raised some of these mega rounds.” This observation highlights Leverage Edu’s ability to carve out a significant position in the international education sector despite challenges from larger players.

In addition to its core services, Leverage Edu generates about 25% of its revenue from platform businesses that support students even after admissions. This strategic model not only strengthens student engagement but diversifies revenue streams, contributing to the company’s robust financial health.

India is Leverage Edu’s biggest source market, representing 58% of its overall student numbers. As the company experiences rapid growth and opens new offices around the world, it looks to even bigger goals down the road. Miscellaneous Leverage Edu is aiming for $100 million in revenue by 2026. This new, ambitious goal is a reflection of their confidence in continued growth, influx and expansion.

As it navigates ongoing visa challenges affecting students’ study-abroad dreams, Leverage Edu’s innovative approach and strong market presence position it well to continue supporting aspiring international students. Its pledge to deliver end-to-end assistance on planning and financing their academic journeys continues to be a pillar of its business model.
