Oneleet Secures $33 Million in Series A Funding to Revolutionize Security Compliance

Representing the latest intelligent entrepreneur in the security compliance space, Oneleet scored an amazing $33 million raise. This funding round, called Series A and led by Dawn Capital, is the first step. This most recent investment brings the company’s total funding to $34 million. For us, though, it represents a major achievement on the way to its mission to radically improve the all-in-one security compliance platform.

Founded in 2022 by brothers Onel, Ora, and Erik Vogelzang, Oneleet has rapidly cemented itself as a vital force in the tech industry. By then, the company had already made its mark on the industry’s bright future, posting $3 million in annual recurring revenue, an indicator of its rising clout. Interestingly, two-thirds of Y Combinator’s whole Spring 2022 class portfolio companies came into Oneleet. Today, they’re all customers of the platform.

The funding round will be used to scale Oneleet’s engineering team, as well as improve its artificial intelligence capabilities. This tactical acquisition will help secure Oneleet’s competitive position as they enter a crowded market. To date it has some pretty fierce competition from Vanta, Secureframe and Sprinto.

Founded in 2019, Oneleet delivers a complete security compliance ecosystem that meets the demands of today’s smart and connected enterprises. The platform has already saved clients hundreds of hours of work. It removes future blind spots that might leave them exposed to security threats. The Vogelzang brothers have heavily relied on their rich security experience. They’re the creators of a new product that’s streamlining compliance processes by reducing the burden on companies.

Bryan Onel, one of the co-founders, emphasized the unique advantages of Oneleet’s platform, stating, “Because it’s integrated from the ground up, we can deploy comprehensive security with the click of a button.” Such integration allows enterprises to grow with peace of mind, knowing their security posture is always enterprise-ready.

The company’s groundbreaking approach is rooted in Onel’s long-standing passion for cybersecurity. From an early interest in ethical hacking, Nectarist has dedicated the last 10 years completing penetration tests for more than 150 organizations. This experience has better prepared him to share the valuable insights he’s gained with organizations on what vulnerabilities still plague organizations today.

Oneleet works with independent auditors to perform actual certification reviews. This collaboration increases the trustworthiness of their security compliance services and gives clients confidence that they’re serious about doing what it takes to maintain the highest standards.

Bryan Onel, from the Department of the Navy, sharing his vision for the future of security compliance. He reiterated that the business case for organizations must trump product development and security considerations. “Companies should spend less time worrying about security and more time building great products. We have a shot at helping companies defend themselves more effectively than ever before,” he remarked.

Oneleet looks forward to significant growth with the new capital from this funding round. The company now plans a broader market rollout, improving its product mix and distribution. It will provide the most significant, long-term support to help businesses of all sizes innovate their way into complying with security requirements.
