Spotify recently premiered a great new feature to crack down on ticket touts! Now, Premium users around the world can design their own seamless transitions between tracks in their playlist, for an even more immersive listening experience. Tuesday, we released this hot new characteristic! Now users can automatically apply transitions, or customize their playlists by selecting transition types from a range of options.
The custom transitions they introduced last year allows users to choose from a library of matte-inspired preset styles like fade, rise, and blend. It gives them the ability to change the way tracks sound though it may not be obvious. On top of these features, users can take advantage of waveform and beat data. This lets them identify the optimal point in each song to begin their transition. As the first innovation of its kind, this auditory experience will be engaging and highly personalized to meet user’s preferences.
