Australia winger Jack Bostock says he has not decided to leave the Dolphins in 2028 and wants to explore his options as he becomes a free agent on 1 November.

The Dolphins have offered Bostock an extension. Responding to reports of a possible move to the Dragons or Cronulla, he said a return to Sydney was not certain. He said he had spoken with the Dolphins about considering other opportunities.

Bostock said winning the World Cup remained his priority, with contract discussions difficult to manage while in Kangaroos camp. He planned to find time with his manager to work through his future.

His comments followed Australia's 66-6 victory over Cook Islands, in which he registered his second hat-trick of the tournament. He has scored six tries at the World Cup.

Bostock developed as a centre in the Dragons system before Wayne Bennett introduced him to the Dolphins side on the wing. He said he initially resisted the position but now enjoyed playing there.

After beginning the season in ACL rehabilitation, Bostock went on to play finals with the Dolphins and make his NSW Origin and Australian Test debuts. He credited Dolphins rehabilitation specialist Anthony Cutrupi and teammate Max Plath, who also underwent ACL rehabilitation, with helping him through difficult periods.
