North Melbourne claim historic third straight AFLW minor premiership
The Kangaroos beat Richmond by 68 points to finish 11-1, while Carlton's win over Brisbane came with a hamstring concern for Claudia Whitford.

North Melbourne have become the first AFLW team to secure three consecutive minor premierships, with captain Jasmine Garner leading a 68-point win against Richmond at Windy Hill.
Garner collected 28 disposals and kicked one goal as the Kangaroos finished their campaign with an 11-1 record. North won 15.11 (101) to 5.3 (33), recovering after Richmond scored two of the opening three goals.
The Kangaroos then kicked seven goals without reply. Ash Riddell gathered 32 disposals and Tahlia Randall kicked three goals for North, while Richmond's Monique Conti finished with 33 disposals.
Carlton climbed to fourth with a comeback win over Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena, but midfielder Claudia Whitford was ruled out before half-time because of a hamstring issue. The Blues kicked five goals to Brisbane's one in the closing stages to win 6.4 (40) to 5.5 (35), taking their record to 9-3.
Port Adelaide defeated St Kilda 7.9 (51) to 7.3 (45) in a weather-affected match at RSEA Park. The Saints ended their season at 1-11, with the club conducting an independent review of its program after coach Nick Dal Santo stepped down midway through the campaign.
Port finished level with eighth-placed Hawthorn on 24 points but had a substantially lower percentage, leaving retiring players Kirsty Lamb and Justine Mules-Robinson without a finals appearance.
