Australia finished its ODI series against Bangladesh with a 3-0 result after winning the final match by eight wickets at Allan Border Field. The hosts passed the visitors' total of 172 within 23 overs.

Megan Schutt led Australia's bowling effort with figures of 4-16, delivering 10 consecutive overs that included 53 dot balls. Bangladesh had been sent in to bat and was dismissed for 172.

The chase began with the loss of Georgia Voll for 11 and Beth Mooney for 21. Playing her 100th ODI, Mooney was bowled by fast bowler Disha Biswas on the Bangladesh player's debut.

Ellyse Perry and Annabel Sutherland then put on an unbeaten third-wicket partnership of 137. Perry finished on 65 from 64 deliveries, while Sutherland made 74 from 52.

Schutt received the player-of-the-match and player-of-the-series awards, having taken 10 wickets across the series at an average of 7.1. Her ODI tally at Allan Border Field reached 28 wickets from 14 matches, a record for the venue.

A low-grade hip strain kept opener Phoebe Litchfield out of the final match, with all-rounder Nicola Carey taking her place.
