St Kilda completes Jake Stringer signing as delisted free agency opens
Max Ramsden also joins the Saints, while North Melbourne adds three players and Carlton signs Wil Parker.

St Kilda has lodged the paperwork to sign Jake Stringer, making his move official as the AFL’s delisted free agency window opened. The Saints also recruited Max Ramsden, with Carlton and North Melbourne completing signings of their own.
Stringer, 32, joins his fourth AFL club after kicking 48 goals for the Giants in his most recent season. He previously represented the Western Bulldogs and Essendon. St Kilda had announced the move before the window opened.
Saints football boss Lenny Hayes said Stringer’s experience and scoring ability would give the club more options in attack. Ramsden, 23, arrives from Hawthorn, where he made 11 appearances over four years, mainly playing forward.
North Melbourne signed Elijah Tsatas, Samson Ryan and Darragh Joyce. Football chief Brady Rawlings said the club had chosen to pursue delisted free agents actively because its draft hand was more compressed this year.
Rawlings said Ryan would provide depth among North’s taller players, while Joyce would add key-position options in defence. He said Tsatas had experience but also room to improve.
Carlton finalised the addition of former Collingwood player Wil Parker, whose move had been raised during the trade period. The 24-year-old played 14 matches over three seasons for the Magpies and previously worked with Carlton coach Josh Fraser when Fraser was a Collingwood development coach.
